Originally from Ethan, South Dakota, Pastor Jonathan Underberg now resides in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he serves with a deep commitment to strengthening families and discipling men for Christ. He earned his Master of Divinity in Youth and Family Ministry from Liberty University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling and Theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Jonathan began serving in ministry in December 2023 and brings with him a strong foundation of leadership and integrity shaped by his military service. His passion lies in helping others to find their identity in Christ, walk in biblical truth, and live out the gospel in everyday life.
He is blessed to share life and ministry with his wife, Mary. Together, they are raising three children—Peyton, Ryan, and Johnson—with love, purpose, and a desire to honor the Lord in their home.
